Dr. Sara Marelli

Degree in Psychology at University Vita-Salute San Raffaele of Milano, Italy.  Residency in Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy and PhD in Neurology- Sleep Medicine Alma Master Studiorum University of  Bologna.

 

Since 2007, I’ve worked at U.O. of Neurology – Sleep Disorder Center, at Hospital San Raffaele, Turro. Usually, from a clinical standpoint, I take care of patients with sleep disorders (Insomnia, night eating disorder, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, REM Sleep Behavior Disorder, Restless Leg Syndrome).  I make psychodiagnostic evaluations and therapy for personality disorders and neuropsychological evaluations and rehabilitations.


From a scientific research standpoint, I take care of epidemiology studies, researches about the validation of testing materials, studies with functional imaging on patients with cognitive impairment/dementia or sleep disorders, and researches supported by ministerial grant and other institutions.

Since 2015, I’ve been a lecturer for postgraduate schools in neuropsychological and clinical psychology at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele.  For more than 10 years I’ve been a Co-rapporteur of thesis for both master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the same university.
